Ms. Mary Bohanan has a degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, and is currently Counselor licensed with the State Board of Examiners for Alcohol and Drug Abuse, and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor Supervisor of Interns. Ms Bohanan has 17 years experience in the State of Nevada dating back to 1996. Her background includes chemical dependence assessments for Criminal Justice referred clients, and with the homeless population, identifying clients with co-occurring disorders, placement and referrals, individual and group counseling, case file management, curriculum development, treatment planning, educational classes, life skills classes and family groups. Ms Bohanan has worked as a D.U.I. Counselor at Southern Desert Correctional Facility in Indian Springs, NV. She is a newly licensed DUI Instructor with the State of Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety and with Smart Choices DUI Program. Her stated goal is to help court mandated DUI defendants develop the tools and the skills that they need to make healthy and positive lifestyle changes.
